K-1st Grade: Prehistoric Party
You know them by name -- Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurus Rex -- but how much do you really know about these prehistoric celebrities? In this camp, we will explore the characteristics of some of the most famous dinosaurs and discover what they have in common with the animals that live today.

2nd-3rd Grade: Tyrannosaurus Treks
At the Zoo, we love to talk about animal adaptations -- body structures and behaviors that help an animal to survive. Dinosaurs had their own sets of adaptations -- strong bones to carry their large weight, walking on two legs or four, methods to defend against predators or catch prey, and more. Come learn about Tyrannosaurus Rex's tiny arms and sharp teeth as we unearth some fascinating fossil facts.

Grab your intellectual chisels and brushes and start digging! Join us as we delve into the world of paleontology by chipping away to unearth the nuts and bolts of our prehistoric pals. Our exploration will take us through the layers of rock to get a glimpse of life on earth at the time of the dinosaurs.
