American Civility Association

The American Civility Association (ACA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting kindness, respect, and empathy in communities across the country. In a world where anger, bullying, and rude behavior are becoming far too common, ACA is working to turn the tide by educating individuals and families about the power of civility. With a strong focus on children and families, ACA’s mission is to build a culture where compassion and courtesy are the norm—not the exception. Guided by its first strategic plan, the organization is taking bold steps toward becoming a nationally recognized force for good, helping people understand why kindness matters and how it can change lives.
