WasabiCon is Northeast Florida’s largest pop culture event for fans of cosplay, anime, gaming and everything “geek.” The two-day convention features celebrity guests, local artists, exhibitors, gaming, panels, contests and much more. Daytime programming and events are designed to be all-ages, with content presented for older attendees scheduled in the evening. The next WasabiCon will take place October 13-15, 2023 at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center.

WasabiCon® was started in 2012 as a one day event in North Florida to celebrate anime, cosplay, gaming and all things “geek.” In 2013, the convention expanded into two days and is now the largest and longest running pop culture convention in Jacksonville, Florida.
Our philosophy is a simple one: create a memorable experience for pop culture fans where everyone feels included. Cosplay a favorite character, check out a panel about a new show, buy that print from an artist you’ve recently discovered, and just be yourself in an environment of like-minded fans celebrating their own passions for movies, music, TV, tabletop adventures, video games and much, much more. Fandom is family at our event, and we hope you’ll choose to be a part of it.
