The Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is excited to announce the fifth annual Tails & Trails event, dedicated to our four-legged friends. On Saturday, October 4th, the public can explore the Arboretum’s natural wonders while enjoying a dog-themed, live music by area musicians, and food trucks.

We’re wagging our tails with excitement - Tails & Trails is back for its fifth year! Join us on Saturday, October 4th, for a fun-filled day celebrating our furry companions in one of Jacksonville’s most scenic outdoor spaces. Whether you have a pup of your own or just love being around them, this event is for animal lovers of all kinds!
Spend the day strolling through our shaded trails, taking in the beauty of the Arboretum’s diverse ecosystems, and enjoying a lineup of dog-friendly delights.
Event Highlights Include:
- Dog-themed vendors featuring pet products, accessories, and local services
- Live music from talented local musicians
- Raffle prizes to support the Arboretum’s programs and conservation work
- Food trucks serving delicious bites for all tastes
- Plenty of photo ops, dog activities, and surprises throughout the day
Bring your pup, bring your friends, and bring your walking shoes - it’s going to be a tail-wagging good time!
Friendly reminder: dogs must remain leashed at all times, and please come prepared to clean up after your pet.
