Spring Art Camp

MOCA Jacksonville provides half-day and full-day sessions for kindergarten through fifth-grade students during spring break. Experienced art educators teach a variety of media and skills while providing the contemporary art history context for each project.

THEMES

Monday, March 19 // Bold City Art

Students will look into the landscape, culture and local art scene of Jacksonville for inspiration to create mixed media works of art. 

Tuesday, March 20 // Art About Me

Students will use a variety of media to create personal works of art featuring themselves and some of their favorite things.

Wednesday, March 21 // Patterns & Repetition

Students will incorporate patterns and repeated motifs to craft unique works of art from many different materials.

Thursday, March 22 // Wearable Art (or Personal Adornment)

Students will use mixed media to make works of art that can be worn on their bodies.

Friday, March 23 // Alternative Processes

Students will experiment with different artistic processes and materials to create exciting works.

**New Spring Camp offerings for non-Duval County students. St Johns County, The Bolles School, Episcopal, St Marks, Discovery Montessoru, Riverside Presbyterian Day School, and others are on Spring Break from March 26-30. **
