Reindeer Run

This race will surely get you in the Christmas spirit! All the events start and end at Main Beach Park located on what we like to think of as our paradise... Amelia Island, Florida. The 5k and and kids runs will run through the north part of Main Beach neighborhoods, where you will be welcomed by cheering neighbors and Christmas carolers throughout the route! The 1/2 marathon will also run the 5k route but will get the opportunity to run through our beautiful state park Fort Clinch and our historical neighborhood, Olde Towne. Keep an eye out for our reindeer markers!!! *Walkers must be able to do a 16 minute mile pace (3 ½ hour time limit) for the ½ marathon. NO EXCEPTIONS. While basking in your accomplishment finish your race at the park with an ice cold beer or Christmas cookies baked by the locals. Of course we have others goodies too. Especially for the kids we have a great Kids Zone with plenty to do and bounce houses and a special appearance by Santa! What a way to start the holidays with family and friends! Come join the fun!!!
