Pups are invited to bring their well-behaved humans to an event that’s just for the dogs! Pup-A-Pawlooza is a canine celebration hosted by the St. Augustine Sunrise Rotary Club that benefits the St. Augustine Humane Society. The event features fun contests, prizes, music, food, vendors, and, of course, plenty of pups! Pup-A-Pawlooza is on Saturday, March 23rd, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds, 5840 Fl-207 E in Elkton.
Pup-A-Pawlooza will offer a full day of fun for humans and their canine companions. Pet Camp provides interactive activities in the arena like Dog Agility Demonstrations, Rally Obedience, Rocking Recall, Basic Manners Lessons, Trick Training Demonstrations, a Fetch Competition, and an intro to K-9 Nosework. Dogs can give the activities a shot for a nominal fee.
Pups and their people can compete in fun contests like ‘Dog Who Looks Most Like Owner,’ ‘Best Treat Catcher,’ and more! Rhythm & Ribs presents live entertainment by D.J. Bill Jones, while County Road Provisions, El Mariachi Loko Jax, Sweet & Salty Sisters, Wingin’ It Catering & Food Truck, and YAMO Food Truck provide tasty treats.
Free for dogs and their humans 15 and under, all others $10. Advance tickets may be purchased here. Parking is free for attendees.
All dogs must be leashed, and owners are asked to please clean up after their pets. Pup-A-Pawlooza is open to dogs, but please leave other pets at home.
This event benefits the St. Augustine Humane Society, which works tirelessly to ensure that all pets live safe, happy, and healthy lives and that pet owners have the tools and education to create lasting relationships with their animals, lowering the risk of them ending up in shelters or on the streets.
The St. Augustine Humane Society, located at 1665 Old Moultrie Road in St. Augustine, promotes healthy, responsible, lifelong pet ownership by serving the medical and rehabilitative needs of companion animals in the community. They help prevent animals from entering shelters by providing low-cost services, training, food, and support.
