Groundwork Jacksonville invites the community to spend an afternoon in beautiful Klutho Park for Hogans Creek Fest! The event will include music, free food, family activities, demonstrations from area nonprofits and the chance to see preliminary plans for the Hogans Creek restoration.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
As part of the Emerald Trail Master Plan, GWJax is partnering with the City of Jacksonville and design/engineering firm Halff to design the Hogans Creek Restoration plan. The goal is to reduce flooding, improve water quality and habitat, and create access and recreational opportunities. Come out and meet the designers/engineers and share your thoughts on their ideas for the creek design.
