Each month we offer offer 3 unique opportunities for our community’s homeschool families, co-ops, and groups* to join us on the farm for fun, nature-based activities as a supplement to your at-home curriculum or unit studies.
Each farmschool day will offer a chance to spend time in the outdoors among nature, and teach a skill or impart some knowledge as it relates to living in harmony with nature, sustainability and eco-consciousness, farm life, animal care, science (including botany, ecology, and biology), STEM/STEAM, etc.
All ages welcome, however portions of the activities/crafts may not be accessible to those under 2yrs. Adult supervision is required for all children under the age of 16.
Pack a picnic, explore the farm, play in the mud kitchen/kids’ garden, and visit with our farm animal friends! Each paid admission includes a bag of feed for the animals and a tractor ride.
* You do not have to be a homeschooler to attend, however the farmschool days events are set up to accommodate the schedule of families/groups that do not attend a traditional school institution. Children who are not yet school-age, who are out of school for breaks or teacher in-service days, etc. are welcome to attend*
Admission: $10 per participating child, $5 per adult.
Max Capacity: 30 participating children per session
We HIGHLY recommend pre-purchasing your child admission tickets. We can not guarantee that walk-ins will be able to participate (i.e. if we have reached max capacity for the day.) Adult admission is paid day-of at the gate.
Farmschool Days are NOT a drop off program. All children MUST be accompanied by an adult. Farmschool Days are open to anyone and all ages. Farmschool Day admission applies in order to participate in the scheduled activities. Farmchool Day participants will be given a wristband at the gate. Only those with a wristband may participate in the scheduled activities.
