The UNT Department of Computer Science and Engineering is hosting Cybersecurity camps virtually in July (http://www.cse.unt.edu/~song/gencyber/). The goal is to develop cybersecurity awareness and teach cybersecurity fundamentals to middle/high school students. Students entering 9th-12th grades with or without prior knowledge or experience in cybersecurity are welcome to join. In the camp, students will be exposed to cryptography, network security and digital forensics through highly engaging and interactive activities including games, hands-on labs, animation/simulations, videos, and invited speakers. The camps are free and emphasize fun, hands-on learning of cybersecurity topics. Starting from July 5, each camp is for a week, until July 30. Registration details can be found at http://www.cse.unt.edu/~song/gencyber/Application.html If you have any questions, please contact us at (940) 565-2341.
