Budding Gardeners: Carnivorous Plants at Garden Club of Jacksonville

Just in time for Halloween, learn about plants that trap and consume insects in order to survive. Join Billy Dorsheimer, who has won multiple prizes at the Jacksonville Fair Horticulture Show for his carnivorous plant specimens, as he shares what he’s learned about these fascinating plants. The Alderman Park Circle of the Garden Club of Jacksonville is sponsoring and organizing this special Budding Gardeners program. Budding Gardeners is aimed at children in grades 1-6 to discover gardening, conservation, and wildlife through interactive programs, crafts, and outdoor projects. Children and their parents or caregivers collaborate during a morning of healthy and fun activities. Each registration includes one parent and child.
