The Block Party @ JWJ Park!

On Friday, May 6, 2022, join Friends of James Weldon Johnson Park for The Block Party - a free, family friendly event featuring St. Petersburg, FL based Progressive Funk band, AJEVA and Jacksonville based favorite, Mama Blue. The event will spotlight fun games for all ages - including cornhole, kan jam (a frisbee throwing game), bocci ball, and more; frozen drinks; food trucks; and all-around good times and summer vibes. The event, presented by Friends of James Weldon Johnson Park, will take place from 5pm to 9pm on Friday, May 6, 2022, and is FREE to attend but drinks (both alcoholic and non) will be available for purchase from JWJ Park's full bar. Limited general seating available at this event, but you are welcome to bring your own chair! The festival is dog friendly too!
