Annual Amelia Island Book Festival

Our annual Book Festival (formerly known as Authors’ Expo and Readers’ Extravaganza) will be on Saturday, March 1st, at Fernandina Beach Middle School from 10am-4pm. This is a FREE event to our community and the most prominent way for guests to take part in our Festival. During the Festival, there will be opportunities to engage with authors in an up-close and personal way while authors showcase and sell their books. The Festival will have Author Break-Out Sessions and Panel Discussions throughout the day with our ten featured authors, as well as children’s authors including our local Olympian, Poe Pinson, and local Amelia Island author, Lizzette Harris. This is a family-friendly event and we encourage children of all ages to come out! The Kids Zone will be available to keep the young ones engaged, as well as the usual activities, incentives, prizes, book signings, food trucks, and other attractions. There will be many opportunities to celebrate literacy in a casual, fun, festive atmosphere.
