10th Annual Moosehaven Chili Cook-Off

As the temperatures cool off, the chili heats up each November at the annual Chili Cook-off event November 9, 2019. Part of the Heart of the Community program, Moosehaven hosts cook teams from around the nation to compete in this International Chili Society (ICS) sanctioned event. Teams compete with their favorite recipes to win People’s Choice and ICS awards, while enjoying a classic car show by Clay County Cruzers. With local craft vendors, a Kid Zone, and the addition of the American Corn Hole League's Southeastern Conference Qualifier, there is something for everyone! Make sure to bring the whole family for the free, live entertainment featuring Nashville recording artists Devon Dawson and Katlyn Lowe!

All proceeds benefit K9s For Warriors, a program dedicated to providing rescued dogs to our warriors wounded in service to our country. The goal is to empower them to return to civilian life with dignity and independence. This organization is the nation's largest provider of service dogs for disabled American veterans.
