- Registration required
- Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Members $200,Non-Members $230 per week
- AM Care: 7:30 to 9 a.m., $30 per week
- PM Care: 3:30 to 5 p.m., $30 per week
- Scholarships are available.
- There are six weeks of Camp:
Week 1: Line, Shape, and Color – June 8 through 12
Explore the basic elements of art by investigating the use of line, shape, and color. Campers will combine their own marks and colors to create unique works of art.Week 2: Rhythm, Pattern, and Balance– June 15 through 19
Discover how artists include rhythm, pattern and balance in their masterpieces. Campers will learn how to infuse these principles of art to enhance their own artwork.Week 3: Land, Water, and Sky– June 22 through 26
Explore landscapes, cityscapes, waterways, and skies in artwork from the Eclectic Ecology exhibition, the Eugène-Louis Charvot exhibition, and more. The St. John’s River and the Cummer Gardens will provide active inspiration for budding young artists.Week 4: Artful Animals – July 6 through 10
Animals are on the loose in the Museum. Search the galleries and gardens for snakes, butterflies, cats, and other creatures. Explore the hidden meaning of animals in artwork, and create your own animal-inspired art.Week 5: Sculpt It – July 13 through 17
Create three-dimensional artwork using a variety of different sculpting techniques and materials such as clay, wood, and cardboard. Campers will explore artwork in the Museum’s permanent galleries and gardens, as well as Buddha and Shiva, Lotus and Dragon.Week 6: Art Around the World – July 20 through 24
From Egyptian sarcophagi to Meissen porcelain, explore cultures from around the world and create your own art inspired by the Cummer Collection and Buddha and Shiva, Lotus and Dragon.
