Chinese New Year: Year of the Tiger - Jacksonville Zoo

Chinese New Year festival marks the start of the new year, beginning on the second new moon after the winter solstice and ending on the full moon fifteen days later. It's believed that people born in a given year have the personality of that year's animal. 2022 is the year of the Tiger: quick-witted, resourceful, versatile and kind. Come join us as we celebrate on Sunday, January 30 from 11 am to 2 pm, with astounding performers such as a Chinese dragon, a lion dancer, and fan and umbrella dancers. Admission is free with purchase of daytime ticket.
