Beethoven, Haydn and Sibelius with the Jacksonville Symphony
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 01/05/2019
A 20-year-old Ludwig van Beethoven studied with the living legend Franz Joseph Haydn on the path to his own immortality. The pairing of these two could not be more fitting as the Symphony welcomes young phenom Evren Ozel. Once a student of Music Director Courtney Lewis’, they partner in Beethoven’s Fourth Piano Concerto. Sibelius’ Symphony No. 3 wraps up the program with sounds of Scandinavia.
