Opening of the Beaches Parade 2023

The City of Jacksonville Beach welcomes you to the Annual Opening of the Beaches Parade! The Parade starts at 2:00 PM at Latham Plaza & Seawalk Pavilion. We can't wait to celebrate our amazing beach community with family and friends!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
All City parking lots will be open (paid parking will still be enforced) on Saturday, April 29th. All City lots will be closed at 6:00am on Sunday, April 30th. Paid parking will resume at 4pm following the completion of the parade. Avenues from Beach Blvd to 5th Avenue N, including 1st and 2nd streets, will be closed by police beginning at 9:30am on Sunday, April 30th. This will be the staging area for the parade. Deliveries for business should try and avoid Sunday at all cost. Once the police department shuts down the parade area, entry into the lots and streets mentioned above will be emergency use only.
